Skating designs was founded by Dorota Kamieniecki, the president and owner. She envisioned giving the consumer high end quality figure skating products and reliable service at an affordable price.

The owner's daughter, Ola, is a figure skater. Ola is now 15 years old and started skating at the age of three. Ola is the Polish Ladies Junior Gold Medalist in 2011 and will be competing in junior grand prix events this year. Ola is one of the primary reasons the owner started making figure skating clothing. The owner has many years of experience making the items that are sold on this web site. Dorota's passion is to make children happy on and off the ice through her unique figure skating apparel. When the skater feels good about their clothing, they will be more confident and happy when they do skate.
